Putin seeks to punish Crimea's air defense forces, looking for those responsible for Novocherkassk destruction

In the report, the guerrillas note that on the night of December 27, FSB operatives, counterintelligence, prosecutors and a departmental commission were sent to Feodosia. The leadership of various Moscow structures is also expected to arrive there.

At the same time, after the destruction of the landing ship, local residents' phones are being checked and houses are being searched to find those who adjusted fire.

Agents of the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars noted: "Putin is furious over the destruction of the Novocherkassk. An order has been issued to punish the Crimean air defense forces, and it is expected that many commanders will be sent to the front to participate in assault groups. "They are actually getting rid of them," Atesh added.

The agents also noted that the Russians have problems detecting Western-made missiles. However, the commanders in charge of air defense conceal this information and claim that there are no concerns.

What is known about the destruction of the Novocherkassk

On the night of December 26, residents of Feodosia in Russian-occupied Crimea reported loud explosions over the city. Later, the head of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, confirmed the information about the destruction of the Novocherkassk landing ship. 

The Air Force also reported that the large landing ship Novocherkassk was attacked by cruise missiles from tactical aircraft at about 2:30 a.m. The Air Force reported it as destroyed.

Natalia Humeniuk, a spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, said that the large detonation was caused not just by fuel or ammunition from the ship itself but probably by the cargo on board.

Krym. Realii reported that two Russian warships left Feodosia Bay a few hours after the Ukrainian military attacked the port and the Novocherkassk landing ship.
