Prigozhin is most popular presidential candidate in Russia - poll
Russian Field sociologists conducted a study on the 2024 presidential election in Russia. They asked an open question about whom the Russians are ready to support. The respondents suggested names, not chosen from a list

The survey involved 1,600 people and was conducted from May 13 to 16.
30.2% of Russians named Vladimir Putin. The most popular candidates after the current president were the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin (2%), opposition leader Alexei Navalny (1.8%), and the deceased ex-LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky (1.3%).
Answering other questions, one-third of respondents - 31% - considered it unacceptable or rather unacceptable for the president to serve more than two terms. The opposite view is shared by 66% of respondents.
According to the survey, women support Putin more often than men (33% vs. 24%). Also, the incumbent president has the most supporters among those who receive information from television (39%), and the least among those who read Telegram channels (23%). Listing the qualities they like in him, respondents named determination and resilience (7.9% and 7.6%). The most unattractive thing about the president is Putin's mildness (5.2%).
