The editor-in-chief of the opposition Belarusian radio station Euroradio, Pavel Sverdlov, has said he believes that the Belarusian military will join Russia's war against Ukraine
He shared the details with Espreso TV.
"Propaganda in Belarus is different from propaganda in Russia. Lukashenko tries to emphasize that Belarus is not participating in the war, that Belarusian troops have not entered the territory of Ukraine, and that Belarus is a peacemaker. On the other hand, there is quiet recruitment in social networks in Belarus. Recruiters are trying to informally involve Belarusians in the war. Private military formations are looking for men with military experience who know how to hold weapons in their hands and offer them a large salary", Sverdlov noted.
