Pentagon signs USD 431 million worth contract for producing more HIMARS
The US Department of Defense has entered into a contract with Lockheed Martin Corporation for the production of HIMARS MLRS to satisfy an urgent need of the US Army and its allies.

The Pentagon announced the information on its website.
“Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded a $430,930,711 fixed-price incentive contract for full-rate production of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and support services to satisfy an urgent need to support the Army and various Foreign Military Sales partners,” the statement reads.
The estimated completion date is Dec. 31, 2025. However, the Pentagon does not specify what foreign partners US plans to supply with HIMARSs.
