Over 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers receive training in UK
As of the end of August, over 20,000 Ukrainian servicemen have already received training in the UK
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.
It noted that before the training, all Ukrainian servicemen received the necessary ammunition and supplies. Ukrainian soldiers are given everything they need, both during training and at the frontline.
"These are not only uniforms and footwear for summer and winter, body armor and helmets, but also tactical goggles, gloves, first aid kits, sleeping bags and Karrimats, as well as comfortable and durable backpacks and bags to carry all this," the General Staff added.
In addition, the military received all the items as part of the multinational training Operation Interflex. Thus, the UK provides effective and significant support to Ukraine in its fight against Russia's invasion.
The General Staff emphasizes that the country's support has now exceeded GBP 2.3 billion (almost USD 3 billion).
