"It appears that enemy has received more ammunition": On Ukraine's eastern front, density of Russian mortar attacks has doubled
Yevhen Iyevliev, a soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that in the past week, the enemy has significantly increased mortar fire
He made this statement on Espreso.
"Along the entire front line, from north of Bakhmut to the direction of Horlivka, it seems that the enemy has obtained a substantial quantity of anti-tank missiles. In just one week, the frequency of mortar shelling has doubled. When the Russians acquire anti-tank missiles, they tend to use them extensively, fortifying their positions and firing at anything in their path," emphasized Ievlev.
He also mentioned that there have been recent provocations by the enemy in the Horlivka area.
"Our positions are situated 350-400 meters away from the enemy's positions. In recent days, we've experienced two enemy provocations. These actions may not be considered full-fledged assaults, but the Russians deliberately drew fire upon themselves and attempted to initiate a firefight. Our troops responded effectively. We incurred no losses, while the enemy faced significant challenges. During the interception, we heard they had four injured," highlighted Iyevliev.
