Not just Russian army's quantitative increase, but technologies affect war's results now - Zgurets
The Ukrainian army's use of the long-range missile system is one way to minimize any increase in the Russian army's operational personnel numbers
Defense Express analyst Serhii Zgurets said this on Espreso TV.
"The increase in the amount of cannon fodder currently does not affect the processes of significantly increasing the efficiency of the Russian army. We see, in particular, what is happening in the areas of the front. Where we have long-range weapons and where artillery works, there is no advance of the Russian army. Conversely, I think that this option of using the long-range damage system is one of our ways to minimize any increase in the number of personnel of the Russian Federation. Our military leadership and our foreign partners should pay attention to this," Zgurets said.
According to Zgurets, today the increase in the number of personnel of the Russian troops will not significantly affect the course of the war, since manpower loses to technology.
"And as for the recruitment of cannon fodder in the Russian Federation, I think that the effect of this will not be significant. No matter how much we consider the experience of the Second World War, times have changed. And technologies actually now have a much more significant impact on the course of action on the battlefield than just a quantitative increase in the personnel of the Russian Federation," he noted.
