Netherlands recognizes Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainian people
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for recognizing the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people
He wrote about this on Twitter.
“I welcome the recognition by the House of Representatives of the Netherlands of the Holodomor as a genocide. Calling things by their proper name is the key to justice. And to prevent the recurrence of these horrific crimes. Grateful to the Netherlands for strong and multifaceted support of Ukraine in the fight for our future and that of all free world!” Zelenskyy tweeted.

On June 28, Croatia’s parliament recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, France, Australia, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Germany, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the United States, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Croatia, Slovakia, the European Parliament and the Baltic Assembly also did so.
