Moscovia should be the new name for the Asian post-empire
Not only Crimea, but also the stolen "Russia" must be taken away from Putin
Until 1721, Russia was known in Latin sources as Moscovia. And it was not considered a part of European civilization. Peter I stole the history of Kyivan Rus and the name for his empire, trying to disguise its Asian despotism as European civilization. The state, however, remained part of Asia in terms of mentality.
After 300 years, Putin officially directed the empire's remnants back to the east. The starting point is usually considered to be 2012, when Moscow started a confrontation with the West in favor of the so-called Eurasianism. The confrontation reached its peak in 2022. Putin promised to reorient Russia's economy to Asia. Hence these talks about India and China becoming Moscow's main partners.
“It was the Golden Horde that formed the invasive philosophy of Moscovia: its princes were ruthless to their people and at the same time obedient slaves of Mongol khans.”
Here are the key nuances of Moscovia:
It was the Horde that formed the invasive philosophy of Moscovia: its princes were ruthless to their people and at the same time obedient slaves of Mongol khans. Alexander Nevsky, who is now promoted by Russian propaganda as a symbol of confrontation with the West, fought with the Teutons, was the great-grandson of the Polovtsian Khan Kotyan and imposed heavy tribute on his people. Nevsky paid the horde, joined forces with Batu Khan to fight his brothers and successfully plunder Slavic lands.
Renowned politicians and experts argue that "modern" Russia is in fact still the Golden Horde, and President Putin is the "last Khan" of this state, which "should return to the Mongol Empire with its center in Beijing.”
Today's war against Ukraine is perceived by many as a continuation of the confrontation between Stalin and Bandera, that is, between the empire and a separate nation seeking to escape from its "embrace". But in reality, there is a mental conflict of symbols: the Horde consciousness of Alexander Nevsky and the pro-European consciousness of Danylo Halytsky. King Danylo of Rus received his crown, scepter and crown from Pope Innocent IV, and was looking for loyal allies in Europe for the anti-Mongol coalition.
“Modern Russia in fact continues to be the Golden Horde, and President Putin is the "last Khan" of this state, which "must return to the Mongol Empire with its center in Beijing.”
By reviving the myth of Alexander Nevsky, the Kremlin distances itself from the historical legend of Kyivan Rus. Russia must regain its rightful historical name Moscovia. Returning Russia’s original name is not a new idea. It has been advocated by many politicians, diplomats and MPs.
It is very simple to solve the Moscovia dilemma; the Verkhovna Rada adopting the necessary law would be enough.
