“More long-range missile than Javelin”: Defense Express expert Kyrychevskyi on French Akeron MP anti-tank munition

Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi said this on Espreso TV. 

“The French have positioned these missiles as their Javelin counterparts, but they have a longer-range missile. The best part about this situation is that the French have just put this missile into service. The first live firing took place at the end of 2021,” he said.

Kyrychevskyi added that the French military even practiced firing these anti-tank systems at a range of up to 5 km using a drone.

“Perhaps even these French Akeron MP missiles can be used more effectively by our military than the American Javelin. This is very good news that the French have decided to test their latest product, which has not been exported, on the battlefield against the Russian forces,” the expert concluded.
