He shared the information on Telegram.

"Dear comrades and sisters-in-arms, with whom I had the honor to serve in the ranks of the Land Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Khortytsia group of forces. Thank you for every day of dedicated service, carried out together in the toughest areas of the frontlines of our war for freedom! Your valour, professionalism, dedication to the cause of defending our Motherland, and perseverance in fulfilling combat missions are the foundation of our defense resilience and prevent the enemy from realizing their aggressive intentions," the statement reads.

Syrskyi noted that new tasks are currently on the agenda, primarily focusing on clear and detailed planning of actions for all military management bodies, formations, units, and divisions, taking into account the frontline's needs for modern weaponry provided by international partners.

According to him, military logistics remains a top priority: the fastest and most efficient distribution and delivery of all necessary supplies to combat units.

The Commander-in-Chief believes that the task of all levels of staff is to be fully aware of the frontline's every need and to have control over every sector, as “the qualification of the personnel of military management bodies is crucial for the development and successful implementation of plans and initiatives.”

"Life and health of servicemen have always been and remain the top priority of the Ukrainian army. Therefore, maintaining a balance between fulfilling combat tasks and restoring units and subdivisions, with intensified training and personnel preparation, remains more relevant than ever," emphasized Syrskyi.

He also pointed out the need to implement new technical solutions, while emphasizing the importance of scaling successful experiences.

"The introduction of new technical solutions and scaling successful experiences, such as the use of unmanned systems and modern electronic warfare means, is one of the future vectors for achieving victory in our liberation war. Only changes and continuous improvement of means and methods of combat operations will enable success on this path," noted the Commander-in-Chief.

Syrskyi added that another key component of overall success in the war is a reliable rear.

  • On February 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Valeriy Zaluzhnyi from the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi was appointed to replace him.
