Russia has 27,000 troops on northern border with Ukraine — Ukrainian Colonel Selezniov
Vladyslav Selezniov, Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Colonel and former spokesman for the General Staff, says Russia has concentrated up to 27,000 military personnel in Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"If we are talking about the number of enemy troops operating in the Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions, the Russians have concentrated over 27,000 troops there. This is not a decisive component that can radically change the situation on the battlefield. However, there are several units of the Russian Special Forces involved in sabotage and reconnaissance activities in our regions," said Selezniov.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel noted that the Ukrainian army continues to form defensive fortifications on the border with Russia.
"Now it is very important to listen to the leaders of the Military and Civilian Administration. This is especially important for the residents of the Sumy region. In turn, Ukrainian troops continue to work on engineering and fortifications on the border with Russia. We know that the length of this line should be more than 1000 km," he added.
