Liberation of Kherson region will be prelude to military deoccupation of Crimea - Chubarov
The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, believes that after the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions are liberated, Ukrainian Armed Forces will begin the military deoccupation of the Crimean peninsula.

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The question of liberating the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions will become an important part of the military de-occupation of Crimea. The liberation of Kherson will inevitably lead to the restoration of the state sovereignty of Ukraine on the Crimean peninsula. Therefore, if anyone thinks that after the liberation of Kherson Oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will approach the administrative borders of the Crimean peninsula and stop, then they are very wrong," Chubarov is convinced.
Chubarov also believes that the Putin regime may fall soon.
"In addition, one can only assume what processes will begin in Putin's entourage after the liberation of Kherson Oblast. I do not rule out even the fall of Putin's regime in a very short time and perhaps we will be able to avoid heavy battles for our territories," he added.
