Kyiv is hit with new missiles for Russian S-400 air defense system - Serhiy Zgurets

Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi claims the Russian forces used S-300 or S-400 to attack the capital from the North.

The Defense Express agency received photos of the missile debris that hit Kyiv, although there were several arrivals. Both on objects in the capital and on settlements near Kyiv, in particular, on Makarov and Kopylov. Analysts found an index on these fragments that indicated a 48H6DM missile.

This is a new missile for the new Russian S-400 air defense system. When working on ground targets, it has a range of about 230 km. The weight of the warhead is 180 kg.

It is known that the missile has several thousand fragments of the same unique shape. They lead to the conclusion that these new 48N6DM missiles were used in the capital for the second time. Earlier, the same debris was found in the area of the destroyed private building on Protasiv Yar and in the destroyed hotel behind the Ukraine Palace during the missile attacks on Kyiv on December 31.

Probably, such strikes were carried out from the territory of Belarus, in particular from the airfield Zyabrovka, 30 km from the border with Ukraine, but the General Staff still says that the strikes on Kyiv were carried out from the North. With a range of 230 km, they can be carried out from the border of the Bryansk region.
