Johnson plans to visit Ukraine
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson may plan his next trip to Ukraine to visit Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy
This is reported by The Guardian publication.
The publication states, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told friends that he intends to travel to Kyiv in the coming months to demonstrate his public support for the country against Russian aggression.
The Guardian noted, Ukrainian sources also claimed Johnson intended to go to Kyiv, but there is no specific information about the dates. They said that Zelenskyy and the former prime minister considered each other friends.
Senior Conservatives expressed their concern. They argue that the visit could undermine the authority of the current British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
This trip will be the former prime minister's fourth trip to Kyiv. The first was in April, shortly after Russian forces failed to capture the capital. He made a second surprise visit to Ukraine in June and returned again in August for Independence Day.
