It would be fair if Hungary left EU and NATO – Ukrainian politician Serhiy Dzherdzh
Hungary enjoys the benefits of NATO and the European Union, but pursues a policy against these institutions – it would be fair for it to withdraw from the organizations
Serhiy Dzherdzh, chairman of the NATO-Ukraine Public League and politician, said this on Espreso TV.
“It would be fair for Hungary to withdraw from the EU and NATO. To pursue an independent foreign policy, coordinate it with Moscow and live happily. They are pursuing a mean policy to a certain extent – they are using all the benefits provided by the EU, which finances the Hungarian economy, allocates significant funds to support it. They use the benefits of NATO, which are security and border protection. Using all of this, they pursue some weird policies that are not commensurate with the policies of other countries, the EU and NATO in general. The Hungarians are acting against these institutions rather than in support of their policies,” the politician said.
