Yevgen Oropai, unit commander, Freedom battalion Ukrainian National Guards, says that Bakhmut direction is currently difficult and strategically important.

"Russians constantly attack Bakhmut direction, it is hell there now. Russians drop 120 mines on our positions. They do not attack, but constantly shell us" Oropai stressed.

He said that Ukrainian defenders are not losing pace in their offensive and continue to attempt to move forward and liberate Ukrainian cities and villages.

"For Ukrainian Armed Forces, Kreminna is a priority area. Ukrainian defenders understand that it is important to reach Severedonetsk and Lysychansk. Russians left Lyman and took a position near Kreminna" Oropai said.
