Israel considers transferring Iron Dome air defense system to Ukraine - PM Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he is studying the possibility of providing Ukraine with military assistance and transferring the Iron Dome air defense system
In an interview with CNN, Netanyahu said he was considering providing military assistance to Ukraine. In particular, he drew attention to the fact that the United States had transferred ammunition to Ukraine from Israel.
“The US just took a huge chunk of Israel’s munitions and passed it on to Ukraine. Israel also, frankly, acts in ways that I will not itemize here against Iran’s weapons productions which are used against Ukraine,” he said.
When asked whether Ukraine could receive the Iron Dome air defense system from Israel, he said he was studying the issue.
“Well, I’m certainly looking into it,” Netanyahu said.
