Abdollahian stated this in an interview with La Repubblica.
According to him, Iran avoids any steps that could lead to further escalation in Ukraine and will not supply combat UAVs to Russia.
"We have various forms of cooperation with Russia, including in the field of defense, but we do not help any of the parties involved in the conflict, as we are convinced that the war must be ended. I think the problem now lies in something else: some Western countries, including the US, produce weapons and try to sell their products. We try to avoid any actions that could lead to escalation," Abdollahian assured.
