In Sevastopol, Russia encourages enlisting in its army, and in Kherson region AFU kill up to 50 Russian soldiers - AFU General Staff 

This was reported in the morning report on December 28 by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, Russian occupation authorities intensified agitation for enlistment in the Russian armed forces.

The AFU General Staff confirms that on December 26, as a result of Ukrainian shelling of Russian positions near Chaplynka, Kherson region, their losses amounted to about 50 servicemen killed.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck 7 Russian manpower concentrations and repelled attacks near 15 towns and villages

Thus, over the past day, on December 27, Ukrainian missile and artillery men struck a Russian control point, 7 concentrations of manpower and military equipment, 2 ammunition warehouses, and another important military object.

Also, Ukrainian fighters repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Ploschanka and Chervonopopivka, Luhansk region, and 13 other settlements of the Donetsk region.

Russia launched a missile attack and 33 MLRS attacks at Ukraine

Over the past day, Russian troops launched a missile strike and 33 MLRS attacks, in particular, on civilian objects in the city of Kherson.

The Russian army is attacking in 2 directions, in another direction it wants to improve the tactical situation.

Russian troops continue to launch an offensive in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions and are trying to improve the tactical situation in the Lyman direction.

The threat of enemy air and missile strikes on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine remains.

Situation in other directions

On the border with Belarus, the situation remains stable, no signs of formation of offensive groups have been detected.

In other areas, Russian troops are defending the previously occupied borders, focusing their efforts on deterring the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

On the northern and northeastern border, 3 settlements of the Sumy region and 4 of the  Kharkiv region were shelled by Russian troops.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 8 settlements of the Kharkiv region and 3 of the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, 2 settlements of the Luhansk region and 3 of the Donetsk region came under fire.

In the Bakhmut direction of the Donetsk region, 17 settlements of the Donetsk region were shelled.

In the Avdiivka direction of the Donetsk region, Russian troops shelled  4 settlements. 

In the Vuhledar direction, 6 settlements of the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russain troops shelled from tanks and rocket artillery 12 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops continue mortar and artillery shelling of settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro river. In particular, Chervonohryhorivka of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Antonivka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson suffered. There are casualties among the civilian population.
