The Manhattan University professor expressed hope that the US midterm elections will not affect military aid to Kyiv, as “the influence of the far right wing of the Republican Party, which strongly opposes any support for Ukraine, may go down.”
Answering the question about whether Washington's position to respond harshly to Russia's use of nuclear weapons will remain unchanged, Igor Aizenberg said: “I am absolutely sure this will remain unchanged. Because both President Biden and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan repeated this several times.”
