Hollywood star Ben Affleck can join the support of Ukraine in the world

The press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine reports.

Andriy Yermak, head of Ukrainian President's Office, talked with Hollywood actor and director Ben Affleck via video link. He thanked him for supporting Ukraine.

Yermak emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of worldwide attention to war that Russia has started in Ukraine. He noted this can be facilitated by famous personalities who have achieved success thanks to their talent and are popular in all parts of the world.

The head of Ukrainian President's Office discussed with Ben Affleck ways to provide even greater support to Ukraine and Ukrainians. Yermak invited the actor to visit Ukraine if possible.

• Celebrities and prominent personalities around the world support Ukraine in the war started by Russia. At the end of September, Hollywood star, actor from "Star Wars" Mark Hamill, became an ambassador of the fundraising platform United24. In less than a month, Mark Hamill helped to get more than 500 drones for the "Army of Drones" project.

• Artists all over the world and celebrities support Ukraine and join UNITED24. 

• American vocalist, composer, actress and director Barbra Streisand became an ambassador of UNITED24 initiative.  

• Limited collection of speakers was installed in the brand's stores in Europe with a call to support Ukraine and donate through UNITED24. 

• Spotify renamed the Music of Ukraine playlist to UNITED24: Music For Ukraine. It will include new songs. The platform also creates a new way of supporting Ukraine.

• As part of "24,000 Friends of Ukraine" project, benefactors from different countries can sign up for a monthly subscription to UNITED24 for $24. 

• On September 5, it became known that in four months of operation, the United24 platform raised almost $200 million to help Ukraine.
