Germany provides Ukraine with new aid package, including anti-drone systems, unmanned IFV, trailers for armored vehicles
Ukraine's Armed Forces have received 20 launchers for APWKS, 63 pickups and 92 reconnaissance drones
This is reported on the German government's website.
Ukraine also received two armored repair and evacuation vehicles, one Oshkosh M1070 tank tractor, seven tracked remote-controlled infantry vehicles, 17 8x8 trucks, eight reconnaissance drones, 30 drone detection systems, 27 sensors for combating UAVs, one ambulance, seven patrol cars, as well as 12 heavy-duty trailers.
In addition, the Ukrainian side received 21 generators, 32 mobile heating systems and 36,400 cotton blankets from the Germans.
It is known that APWKS is a laser guidance system for Hydra 70 unguided missiles. The combination of the guidance system with unguided missiles in sum makes an accurate and inexpensive complex for hitting armored and unarmored targets. These systems can be mounted on pickup trucks and destroy both ground and air targets.
