President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron

The discussion between the presidents of Ukraine and France extended for more than an hour. Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Macron for his unwavering support in the face of full-scale Russian aggression.
"The promptness and specificity of the response are of great importance as they significantly enhance our capabilities. We highly value France's commitment to providing our Armed Forces with a robust armored package," stated Zelenskyy.
The Ukrainian President also addressed the situation at the frontlines and shared the outlook for developments in May and June. He emphasized the crucial requirements of the Ukrainian defense forces.
Considerable attention was given to the preparations for the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius, which is expected to yield resolute decisions concerning security guarantees for Ukraine and initiate the process of inviting Ukraine to join NATO, as reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Additionally, the interlocutors discussed collaboration with other international partners to strengthen their support for the Ukrainian peace formula. They also coordinated their positions in anticipation of significant international events and agreed upon the subsequent steps within their bilateral dialogue.
