First group of Ukrainian servicemen complete training in Czech Republic as part of EU mission
In the Czech Republic, the first group of military personnel from Ukraine completed their training as part of the EUMAM mission
IDNES informs about this with reference to the commander of the ground forces of the Czech army, Roman Náhončík.
During the three-week course, several hundred servicemen from Ukraine practised basic skills - shooting with automatic weapons and driving infantry fighting vehicles.
Náhončík emphasized that Czech and Ukrainian servicemen are exchanging experience of conducting a real battle.
The training program included the transfer of experience in attack planning, as well as defence and movement.
"The Czech Republic supports you. You are heroes for the Czech soldiers and for the citizens of the Czech Republic. The war criminal Putin must be defeated," Czech Defense Minister Jana Černochová said.
Next year, four more groups of 800 military personnel from our country will arrive in the Czech Republic. The first one should start training already in January.
