Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, said this on Radio Liberty.

"Currently, it is impossible to use it, and the fuss that is going on around this hit site suggests that there is not even an adequate decision on what to do with this "happiness", she emphasized.

The occupiers will try to restore what is damaged as soon as possible, because railroad communication is the way to deliver heavy weapons and personnel. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to work, in particular, on fire control to ensure that these efforts are in vain, noted Humeniuk.

The operational command South notes that this attack is "one of the elements of the plan that precedes active operations." In particular, it is necessary to deplete the enemy's logistics.

"The enemy in Crimea was amazed that we are still moving there and will continue this movement, we will not stop and we intend to stop only at the 1991 Ukrainain borders. So far, this is the official version, and this is all we can say about what exactly hit the enemy. At the moment, we are speaking about the fact that the attack on the junction station is one of the elements of our plan, which precedes the very active actions that everyone is waiting for, because the depletion of the enemy's logistics and even its termination in some areas is the key to successful actions for later," the spokeswoman said.

Humeniuk noted that panic moods among the authorities of the occupied Crimea "already prevail".

"Of course, it is too late to cause panic, it is already prevailing there, and this has been confirmed more than once by the direction of the traffic leaving Crimea and the load on all roads and railways, those that are still functioning. This is not just a signal that it is time to act, but it is our work directly, which clearly indicates the intentions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the direction of the Defense Forces," added the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center.

  • Late in the evening of March 20, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. It was reported that Russian cruise missiles of the Kalibr NK were destroyed, which were being transported by rail to Dzhankoi.

  • After the nighttime explosions in the city of Dzhankoi, half of the island of Crimea, the occupying authorities introduced a municipal emergency regime.

  • And Russian media reported that the depot, guards, and warehouses at the railway station were damaged as a result of the attack on Dzhankoi.

  • The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the explosions on the railroad in the temporarily occupied city were a signal to the invaders that it was time to leave. Later, the General Staff said that the purpose of the strikes on the temporarily occupied Dzhankoi was to stop the logistics of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied Melitopol and Kherson.
