Estonia sending generators to Ukraine
Estonia is preparing generators to send to Ukraine and is looking for transformers to be sent to support the energy system damaged by the Russian attacks
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Urmas Reinsalu, told the media.
"Now Estonian generators are literally on their way to Ukraine. We are going to send generators to Ukraine in the near future," he said.
"I know that certain types of transformers are needed. And that's why we reviewed all our reserves. We are trying to send everything at a fast pace," the minister added.
Reinsalu also announced his intention to hold a discussion on how to support Ukraine during the meeting of NATO foreign ministers on energy security.
The minister added that the main task of the western countries is the immediate supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine.
"Those countries of the western community, which are able to deliver long-range missiles, should immediately deliver them to Ukraine, because Ukraine needs a shield to protect its people," Reinsalu emphasized.
