Equipment to restore destroyed energy facilities in Ukraine seeks in Europe
Members of the International Energy Advisory Council work with energy companies of their countries to provide equipment for the Ukrainian energy sector

Ukrainian minister of energy, Herman Halushchenko has initiated an emergency meeting of the high-level International Energy Advisory Council under the Ministry of Energy. The situation caused by the most massive Russian attack on Ukrainian energy system facilities since the beginning of the war was discussed.
The meeting was co-chaired by the Ukrainian minister of energy and European Commissioner for energy Kadri Simson. It was attended, in particular, by the minister of climate and environment of Poland, Anna Moskva, the Minister of industry and trade of the Czech Republic, Josef Sikela, the Minister of Economy of Slovakia, Karel Hirman, as well as representatives of the relevant ministries of Greece, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania, Austria.
"Yesterday, the Russians carried out the most massive attack on the energy system of Ukraine, using about 100 missiles, as well as a large number of drones," said Halushchenko.
According to the minister, the Russian attacks caused significant damage to the electricity transmission system. During the evening and night, many repairs were carried out, which made it possible to restore power supply to many critical infrastructure facilities and settlements. At the same time, the situation in the energy system remains quite difficult.
Halushchenko appealed to his colleagues to provide Ukraine with additional equipment that would allow quick repairs and restore stable power system operation. The participants of the meeting assured the head of the Ministry of energy that they are already working with energy companies in their countries to provide the Ukrainian energy sector with equipment, according to the list provided by the Ministry of energy of Ukraine.
