Elections results in U.S. won’t affect support to Ukraine - Reznikov
Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov has said that every time he met with representatives of the Senate or Congress, the delegations were bipartisan.
This was stated by Minister Oleksii Reznikov during a briefing.
To the question of how support to Ukraine will change after the elections in the U.S., which will be held on November 8, the Minister of Defense answered that assistance from the States will remain.
"I have repeatedly met with representatives of the Senate and Congress, and each time the delegations were bipartisan. I communicate on a regular basis with Defense Minister Lloyd Austin, with his team. I clearly understand that the support of the United States will remain bipartisan and bicameral as well," Reznikov said. Reznikov also emphasized that the Americans like to win, so they will support Ukraine, because the truth is ours.
"I have a personal understanding and feeling that the vast majority of the American people support Ukraine in this unjust war. And the American people want the victory of Ukraine. And Americans are very pragmatic people, Americans like to win. They understand that they will be partners in this war, in victory over evil," the minister added.
