Disrupting Russia’s front lines is part of Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive - Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Lapin
Ihor Lapin, a Special Forces officer, an officer with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and MP, says that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively engaged in combat reconnaissance along the front line
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently advancing in the Bakhmut direction as part of their operational encirclement strategy. However, Ukrainian defenders still need to cover a significant distance in both the southern and northern directions around Bakhmut. Their objective is to secure the dominant heights, which will create difficulties for the Russian troops operating in the area," Lapin said.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, reconnaissance by combat is ongoing in other areas.
"Disrupting the enemy's front lines is an element of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive," Lapin emphasized.
