Oleksiy Orzhel, Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine (2019-2020), notes that Ukrainian gas transportation system can completely replace Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2

He told it "Espreso.TV" live on air.

"The fact is that they were built to exclude Ukraine from gas transportation corridor. Europeans may have problems at the end of the heating season, when the necessary pressure will be needed. And here there will be an option of Ukrainian gas transportation system that can fully provide the necessary volumes for European consumers" - Orzhel emphasized.

According to him, it will not just be Putin's defeat, it will be the collapse of his political career.

"There is an agreement until 2025 and determination of volumes of pumping through Ukrainian gas transportation system, and the Europeans will put pressure on Russia to fulfill this agreement" - Orzhel noted.
