Charity сoncert in support of Ukraine
The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation and World Unite for Ukraine™, a global grassroots movement uniting millions of people worldwide in support of the people of Ukraine, will present a virtual 90+ minute fundraising concert
The event will include performances by Pink Floyd, Al Di Meola, the Pat McGee Band, Eurovision 2004 winner Ruslana and other international groups (a complete list of performers can be found here). The event will also showcase powerful stories from Ukraine that highlight the country’s history and culture and the devastating impact the war has had on Ukraine and its people.
With a $10 million goal, all proceeds will be deployed to vetted humanitarian initiatives through the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation. These funds will go toward:
Equipping and building shelters in Irpin and Cherkasy for internally displaced persons (IDPs)
Rebuilding destroyed houses in Horynka and Makarov, Kyiv oblast
Installing water purification systems for apartment buildings in Mykolaiv
Purchasing mobile water purification systems for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
Medical supplies and equipment
Mental health and emotional support
Grants to humanitarian organizations assisting on the ground
Support artists, museums, cultural projects and groups through the Ukrainian Cultural Fund
Animal shelters and protection gear for K9 dogs
The event will be live-streamed to over 25 countries via Mandolin beginning at 8pm EDT/2am CET. An on-demand replay will also be available for seven days after. Viewers can secure a ticket by selecting from several donation tiers on the Mandolin event page or receive an access code by giving to the active GoFundMe campaign.
Merchandise, including t-shirts and event posters designed by Ukrainian and Moldovan artists, will also be available for purchase on Mandolin’s concert page, as well as directly through the World Unite for Ukraine online store.
