Center for Countering Disinformation warns of new narratives promoted by Moscow's propaganda agents

"The US initiative to recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism may cause a breakdown in diplomatic relations". This narrative was voiced by the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, and the quotes from her briefing were immediately picked up by propagandists of the aggressor country. Such statements make it clear that the Kremlin is afraid of the official adoption of a decision and resorts to direct threats", it is noted. 

The Center under the NSDC also noted that it is not the top management of the Russian Federation who makes such statements, but the responsibility is shifted to the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who is not the first time on the air to threaten or publicly insult. 

"We see the excitement and fear of the Russian leadership before the stigma of a state sponsor of terrorism, which further isolates the occupiers from the civilized world", the Center for Countering Disinformation said in a statement.
