Bus with Ukrainian military personnel suffered traffic accident in Latvia
An Estonian bus going from Tallinn to Riga collided with a truck on the Via Baltica highway in Latvia. As a result of the accident, Ukrainian soldiers were injured, the bus driver died.

"According to the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces, the driver of the bus carrying out a commission of the Defense Forces died as a result of a road accident," the article states.
ERR noted that the accident occurred near the city of Ainazi, which is close to the Estonian border. The bus crashed into a truck. The driver died on the spot, and 26 passengers were injured. Three of them are in serious condition.
One Estonian soldier is among the injured. All others are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They received minor injuries, all the injured were taken to an Estonian hospital.
According to LETA, the bus was carrying soldiers from Poland to Estonia. Representatives of the MK Autobuss company, which owned the bus, reported that the truck driver lost control and crashed into the bus from the driver's side. The second bus driver, who received a leg injury, also says the same. According to him, there was a blizzard that day, several accidents had already occurred on the track due to bad weather conditions.
Due to the incident, the highway was closed for several hours, Latvian and Estonian rescue teams and ambulance teams arrived there.
