Biden clearly said that use of nuclear weapons by Russia will cause serious consequences - U.S. ambassador to Ukraine
US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said that Washington and its partners are discussing actions in the event of Russia's use of nuclear weapons.
Brink told about this in an interview with European Pravda.
According to her, US President Joe Biden called talks about the use of nuclear weapons absolutely irresponsible.
"President Biden has made it clear that any use of nuclear weapons would be absolutely unacceptable and would have serious consequences. We are working on that in the US as well, and we are discussing with our partners how we might respond to those actions that would be absolutely unacceptable. And the president made it very clear," said Brink.
She also called the situation at the Zaporizhia NPP captured by the Russians very dangerous.
"As for Zaporizhzhia, this is also very dangerous. We support the Ukrainian government's interest in creating a demilitarized zone, as well as the return of Ukraine's full control over the ZNPP. We are cooperating with the IAEA and international partners to support this goal, because the situation is dangerous," said Brink .
