Before Munich Conference, Ukraine should present its vision of war's end – Ukraine's former FM Ohryzko
Ukraine should prepare its own vision of how the war should end and what should happen with Russia, and then a calm discussion on this will begin
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko said this on Espreso.
"There is no Western decision that Putin's Russia should not exist, and this is the key problem. The Munich Security Conference will start in two weeks. There will be a very interesting discussion on how the war should end and what should happen to post-war Russia. The organizers have invited several oppositionists who will try to present their vision of how Russia should develop after the defeat in Ukraine. During these two weeks, Ukraine should prepare its vision of how the war should end and what should happen next with Russia," he said.
According to Ohryzko, we should already transfer it from conversations to concrete projects of documents.
"Perhaps we should start thinking about the project of the very post-war peace treaty that should be established after the victory over Russia. We have a lot of work ahead, and thanks to this, we will move much faster in the mental breakdown of our partners. Otherwise, Putin is scaring everyone with the nuclear button, and the West is afraid of this. To make them not afraid, we have to offer our vision and discuss it. We must understand that Moscow has colonized dozens of nations and they have the right to self-determination. Then a calm, substantive conversation begins, not a scaremongering that Putin will attack us and Europe with nuclear weapons tomorrow. He soberly assesses the situation and realizes that this attack will be the last day of his life," the former minister summarized.
