Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said this on the air of the telethon, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
"We see that both NASAMS and IRIS-T are already working at the front. We expect that the Hawk system will also work, which is currently being prepared to join the Air Force. In this way, we will strengthen the existing air defense system," Ihnat said.
The Pentagon said that the NASAMS air defense systems, which the USA handed over to Kyiv, intercepted 100% of the missiles that Russia directed at Ukraine on November 15.
Ukraine insists on the need to protect the country with an air shield.
