About 4,7 million of registered refugees from Ukraine are in Europe - UN
According to the UN, the number of registered refugees from Ukraine in Europe has reached more than 4,751,070 people. The largest number of Ukrainians live in Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic.
This was reported by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The UNHCR portal states that the number of registered refugees from Ukraine in Europe has reached about 4.7 million people. At the same time, the total number of Ukrainian refugees in Europe is about 7.8 million people.
The report noted that the largest increase in refugees over the last month was recorded in Germany (about 206,500), Poland (about 38,900), France (about 14,000), Romania (about 11,700), and the Czech Republic (about 9,500).
The largest number of refugees with the status of temporary protection is documented in Poland - 1,507,890 thousand, despite the fact that, according to the data of the Polish border service, 8,008 million people have arrived in the country from Ukraine since the beginning of the war, and 6,196 million have left for Ukraine.
At the same time, according to UN data, 7,939 million people entered Ukraine from February 28 to November 22 (excluding data from Hungary, Russia, and Belarus).е
In addition, the UN separately notes that in Russia and Belarus, 2,852,400 and 16,710 people crossed the Ukrainian border, respectively. However, after October 3, data on Russia stopped being updated, while on Belarus it became outdated.
