Zelenskyy unveils what determines success of Ukraine's counteroffensive
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the success of the AFU’s counteroffensive depends on the supply of Western weapons
Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish media published by the President's Office on Telegram.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning a counteroffensive, and he personally believes that Ukraine will be able to return the temporarily occupied Crimea.
However, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine's success largely depends on the continued supply of weapons by the West.
"We want to save as many lives as possible, so the number of weapons matters," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that Russian troops are losing motivation every day.
"They are afraid of us, as well as the consequences if they retreat," the Ukrainian president said.
At the same time, Zelenskyy refused to disclose details or name the time of the counteroffensive.
