"You can't stop at the borders of 2014": Chechen leader in exile on conditions for Ukraine's victory
The Prime Minister of Ichkeria in exile, Akhmed Zakayev, believes that for the sake of a complete victory, Ukraine cannot stop at the borders of 2014 in any case
He shared his opinion with the Glavkom news outlet.
“At the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia formulated its tasks: demilitarization and denazification. This meant the destruction of the state and the destruction of the Ukrainian nation. That is, in the current situation, the war can be ended only after the dismantling of the Russian state in the form it exists today. And in order for this to happen, it is necessary to send signals to peoples who are in colonial dependence,” Zakayev said.
He also noted that after the Ukraine’s parliament recognized the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria as temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and condemned the genocide of the Chechen people, this was a signal to the world to follow such an example.
In his opinion, the world is already openly talking about the decolonization of the Russian Empire. And this means that the process of the collapse of the empire has begun, and the peoples enslaved by Russia, who strive for independence, are capable of accelerating it.
