Ukraine's General Staff reports 22 attacks in Pokrovsk sector, 12 of them are ongoing

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Two firefights continue in the Kharkiv sector, near the village of Starytsia and the town of Vovchansk. Russian enemy is receiving a tough rebuff. Information on enemy losses is being updated. It is known that Russian terrorists launched an air strike near Lypky.

In the Kupyansk sector, fighting is taking place near Synkivka. The situation is under control. One Russian attempt was repelled earlier. The enemy also used aircraft twice to attack Ukrainian positions near Ivanivka.

Two air strikes were carried out in the Lyman sector: Russian forces fired from army helicopters near Novolyubivka and dropped four guided bombs near Terny. No combat engagements took place.

In the Siverskyi sector, Ukrainian troops are repelling an attack near Bilohorivka. The situation is under control, the enemy's attempt to advance towards Rozdolivka with the support of aviation failed. Russia conducted another air strike in the area of Ivano-Daryivka.

The number of hostile attacks in the Kramatorsk sector increased to six. The Russian army tried to force the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of their positions near Ivanivske, Andriivka, Novyi and Klishchiyivka.One firefight each took place near Novyi and Klishchiyivka, the situation is under control.

The situation is hot again in the Pokrovsk sector, where 22 attacks have been registered so far, 12 of them are ongoing. The aggressor is most active near Sokol, Novopokrovske and Netaylove.

In the Vremivka sector, Russian enemy continues to attempt to break through Ukrainian defenses in the area of Staromayorske, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled three attacks.

In the Kherson sector, three enemy attempts to force Ukrainian defenders out of Krynky were also repelled, and no losses were incurred.

In other areas, the situation did not change much.

• On May 19, the occupying Russian forces intensified their attack in the Siverskyi sector. However, Russian invaders did not succeed and suffered significant losses.
