"Gray zone" in northern Vovchansk: DeepState on dynamic situation
Roman Pohorily, co-founder of DeepState platform, noted that the Russian army is trying to infiltrate the northern part of Vovchansk, which is in ruins, from the north, west, and east
He shared this on Espreso TV.
"The situation is tough. In Vovchansk, the northern part of the city has been a 'gray zone' for some time. There are numerous enemy positions, and our Defense Forces are targeting them with airdrops and artillery. The enemy is trying to fortify and expand its positions, but it's too early to draw conclusions because the situation is very dynamic. There are both fire damage and counter-attack actions from the side of the Ukrainian units. Russians haven't fully established control," said the co-founder of DeepState.
He explained that events are constantly changing, and the city is being destroyed. The northern part of Vovchansk is heavily damaged.
"The enemy is shelling the entire city with various weapons, including aircraft, and trying to infiltrate from different directions. In the northern part of Vovchansk, they are sneaking in from the north, west, and east, and also attempting to enter the western part, but without success. Our fighters spot them quickly and strike back, especially with FPV drones. Near the village of Lyptsi, fighting continues around Hlyboke, Lukyantsi, Starytsi, where the enemy is trying to advance and hold their current borders. The occupiers are making futile attempts to advance on foot, our Defense Forces hit them immediately," noted Roman Pohorily.
