Trump assassination attempt: there will be no civil war
The attempted assassination of Trump will definitely add points to his election campaign, as it is not only a very high-profile event that everyone knows about, but also allows him to actively exploit it throughout the election campaign
And the Democrats will have to justify that they have nothing to do with it. And Trump and his supporters will definitely raise this topic.
Moreover, the event has great potential for the Republican Party even if neither Biden nor Trump runs for office for various reasons.
I also don't really believe in the story that the United States will face a powerful internal conflict (almost a civil war) if one or the other candidate is elected.
A good civil war requires not only the desire of external players, but also internal beneficiaries. I don't see any interest in business in the United States to play this game. It is detrimental to making money. Possible unrest will be quickly covered up in various ways. Both with the help of state institutions and informal levers of influence from American business. They have enough money for this. And there are plenty of free guns and all sorts of "private military companies" in the United States.
For comparison, the beneficiaries of the US Civil War in the 19th century were the industrial capital of the North, whose interests were at odds with those of the agrarian South. The South needed low tariffs on industrial products from Britain because they exploited cheap slave labor on cotton plantations, and the industrial capital of the North was not interested in this. Neither in slavery as a phenomenon overall. The industrial capital of the North needed more skilled workers in its industrial enterprises.
