This was stated in a report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The report highlights that Russian state media and numerous Russian bloggers continue to saturate the information space with claims regarding the conflict between federal authorities in Texas and the United States.
Furthermore, a prominent Kremlin-affiliated military blogger has attempted to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the upcoming US elections.
ISW experts identify these actions as components of a deliberate Russian information campaign.
- On January 27, Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared his readiness to challenge federal authorities in protecting the southern US border from an influx of migrants.
