Moldova to assist France in investigating coffin graffiti

Law enforcement located the three Moldovans after discovering the graffiti in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, depicting coffins labeled "Soldats français en Ukraine" ("French soldiers in Ukraine").
At the time of arrest, they had latex gloves, paint cans, and stencils matching the graffiti.
Police suspect "a possible new foreign intervention." An investigation is underway to determine the attackers' motives and connections to previous foreign interventions.
They are currently held in the territorial jail cell.
The perpetrators admitted to the act, citing similar graffiti in other parts of Paris.
"This action was a response to the French authorities' inappropriate actions against our activists who placed coffins near the Eiffel Tower," they stated.
Moldova’s response
Moldova’s Foreign Minister condemned the incident, stating Moldova's readiness to cooperate with France to uncover the details and bring those responsible to justice.
"We regret and firmly condemn the incident with the involvement of three Moldovan citizens in Paris, which are part of hybrid tactics to harm our international image. Chișinău authorities are ready to cooperate with France to clarify and hold those responsible accountable," he wrote.
