The White House shared the statement.
“The United States stands ready to engage in talks with Russia, China, and North Korea without preconditions to reduce the nuclear threat,” said the American president.
According to him, nuclear risks undermine the norms and agreements that countries have worked together to establish. They also contradict the vital work of current Nobel laureates.
“Let us all take inspiration from this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winners and recommit ourselves to the vital work of building a safer world,” Biden emphasized.
- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has said that the DPRK will accelerate steps to become a military superpower with nuclear weapons and will not rule out their use in case of an enemy attack.
