One killed, 8 injured in Russia’s missile attack on Odesa port
On October 14, the Russian army attacked the Odesa port infrastructure with a ballistic missile, killing one person and injuring 8 more. Two civilian vessels were also damaged
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
It is noted that the port infrastructure has once again become the target of the Russian enemy.
The attack killed one person and injured eight others. The injured are in hospital, two of them in serious condition. All the wounded and the deceased are employees of the port infrastructure, citizens of Ukraine.
The attack also damaged port infrastructure, including a grain warehouse.
Ministry of Infrastructure comment
Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, said that the attack damaged two civilian vessels, a grain warehouse, cranes, warehouses, machinery, buildings of the Sea Ports Authority branch, and cars.
"On October 14, Russia once again shelled the port of Odesa. The attack killed one person and injured eight others. All of them are civilians. Also, the Palau-flagged OPTIMA cargo ship was damaged for the second time. A week ago, this vessel was already damaged by ballistic missiles. Then foreign crew members were injured," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, the other vessel damaged today, the NS Moon, is flying the flag of Belize.
