West is better off ending war here and now

We need to explain important things to Ukraine's partners in the United States and NATO in a qualitative and methodical manner at all levels

I was reading apocalyptic predictions and realized what they reminded me of. American intelligence reports in the early days of the great war, each of which said that "Kyiv is about to fall." One in the same.

At the time, it was very depressing for me. I saw that we were defending ourselves and that we were doing it successfully. "But American intelligence officers cannot be so wrong," I thought, "they must know something.

They can. And they do know something, but they don't necessarily use this "something" to make correct predictions. We surprised them, ourselves, and the rest of the world. Because we acted in the only right way based on our values and our interests.

And we will surprise them again.

“And they do know something, but they don't necessarily use this "something" to make correct predictions. We surprised them, ourselves, and the rest of the world. Because we acted in the only right way based on our values and our interests”

Yes, there is a problem that there are still people in the United States and elsewhere who think that some kind of peace "somewhere in the middle" with Russia is possible. That it is more profitable or better in some way. Because they believe in an "invincible" Russia today or a "democratic" Russia tomorrow. Or for some other reason.

Yes, there is a problem that these positions "Ukraine will not achieve significant success in a counteroffensive" can become, as Ben Hodges says, "self-fulfilling prophecies" (we do not believe in success - so we do not give enough weapons - and so success does not come).

“these positions "Ukraine will not achieve significant success in a counteroffensive" can become, as Ben Hodges says, "self-fulfilling prophecies" (we do not believe in success - so we do not give enough weapons - and so success does not come)”

Does this mean that it will definitely happen? No, it does not.

It means that we need to explain important things to our partners in the United States and NATO in a qualitative and methodical manner at all levels so that they make the right decisions.

That there can be no democracy in Russia in the near future. That "peace somewhere in the middle" means a much bloodier and much more expensive war in the near future, in which their citizens will have to die. That it is more profitable for the Western world to end the war here and now. That the closed skies are part of the picture not only of "winning the war" but also of "winning the peace." And so on.

It also means that we should never deviate from our values and interests. And act accordingly.

And also to support the Armed Forces. Under any circumstances, always support the Armed Forces.
