US to send new aid package for Ukraine this week – Kirby
The US is preparing to announce a new defense aid package for Ukraine this week

White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby said this, Sky News reports.
Kirby noted that Ukraine continues to fight a fierce battle against the invading Russian forces and that the Ukrainian military needs support.
What exactly will be included in the new package is currently unknown.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) reported that due to military assistance from the United States and European countries, Ukraine became the third largest importer of weapons in the world after Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
