UN: There is shortage of body bags in Gaza Strip
The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees has warned that there is a shortage of body bags in the Gaza Strip, which has been blockaded by Israel

"The number of killed is increasing. There are not enough body-bags for the dead in Gaza,” the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a press release.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in turn, noted that the Middle East is on the brink of an abyss.
According to a UN report, since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 1,400 Israelis and 2,329 Palestinians have been killed.

On October 9, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered the military to put the Gaza Strip under a complete blockade. "There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel. We are fighting non-humans and acting accordingly," the official said.
